Lifestyle Changes

Though it may all seem negative and hopeless when it comes to preventing cardiovasular disease/heart diease simple lifestyle changes can signaicfantly reduce the chances of developing such disease.

Lifestyle Changes

The biggest and arguably most effective of lifestyle change one can do is changing thier diet habits. While I'm asking anyone to right out abandon their favorite foods. I would advise others to moderate their intake of fatty foods and increase their consumption of fruits and vegtables. Eating plenty of fruits and vegtables as well as foods high in fiber and fish oils Omega-3 oil can help are essential for preventing CVD. Beets and Parsley juice contain betacyanin, a phytochemical compound that can drastically lower the levels of homocysteine. ( a natural amion acid that can harm blood vessels) This is a juice I personally drink to address my variscose viens in my legs.

Stay active

Psychical inactivity is often an over looked part of preventing CVD. As we consume more and more Television and digital content its important to remember to take a break from our laptops and tablets to get up and walk. Regular exercise is key. The average person should recieve at least 30 mins of psychical activity each day. Walks in the morning or afternoon are a great way to keep blood circulating in the legs. Other include treadmill running, cycling and swimming. As well as stretching and yoga have also been shown as great workouts because they stretch and widen the vien walls.

Sleep

Probably the least known way to prevent CVD is getting sufficient sleep at night. Lack of sleep in studeis has been shown to be associated with increased heart disease factors such as high stress, high blood pressure and wieght gain.
